EWB UVic – Red Cedar Café Partnership
We at EWB UVic are partnered with Red Cedar Café, a greater Victoria non-profit organization! Red Cedar Café leads a community meal program and manages a resources tent for individuals living in Beacon Hill Park again. We at EWB UVic have worked to improve their meal delivery system by coding their cite so all food orders to be retrieved and sorted autonomously. We have also donated necessary goods to the resource tent, given engineering solutions to shelter and heating problems, and are setting up first aid and naloxone training classes for this community.
We are so thankful for this partnership and are very excited to continue working with Red Cedar Café!
